A couple screenshots showing external stores on the F-16DJ. When attached, the stores are light-weight 3D objects bound to the aircraft model. Upon release, a dedicated simulation object is created and added to the battlefield. Hardpoints, racks, and stores are defined and configured using the usual XML data interface scheme. Actual loadout is determined at runtime, although for initial testing the loadout is simply hardcoded. Stores affect dynamic properties, such as mass, drag, inertia, and center of mass.
