From CSP

Almost ready to put add the osg!ChunkLod terrain engine to CSP. Here's a teaser shot from the CaliforniaTerrain. In the foreground is the coastal range north of Mt. Tamalpais and Point Reyes National Seashore. In the distance is the San Francisco Bay andPeninsula, and further off is Monterey Bay.

This is running on a modified version of Vladimir Vukicevic's osg!ChunkLod demo, with a 230 mb chunk file generated from 30 m USGS DEM data of California. The modifications include fast line-of-sight (LOS) testing and more efficient terrain loading.
