Nothing much new here visually, other than a 512x512 detail texture for Demeter built from images at MS !TerraServer. But it had been a while since the last screenshot, so here you go:
Also, nothing new visually. Some work behind the scenes to clean up the object classes and separate the graphics code from the battlefield. Nevertheless, I think it looks nice ;-)
And a few more pretty scenes that occured during various testing.
This last one shows the repetitive nature of Demeter's "detailed" texture. Stormbringer's work will eventually replace this with multitextured tiles adapted to the particular local ecotope. The light effects in the distant hills are pretty cool though, just using a very simple dynamically colored fog.
