The sun is now more than a simple white light at +Z. The sun tracks through the sky along the correct path for the given latitude, longitude, date, and time. The global white light source has been replaced by a light that follows the sun and is tinted based on the sky shade model. With the rotation of the earth accelerated by about 1200 times, the sun rises and sets every minute or so giving an impressive light show. Here are a few shots:
